Wow…

Words can not describe what I feel right now. New life you ROCK !! Your passion and genuine show of love for others astounds me. Your response to the need in Guatemala was incredible. I am believing in the thought of lifestyle evangelism more and more, and its obvious you are also.

For those of you who do not know what I am referring to, I shared pictures and stories from my trip to Guatemala with the church in yesterdays service. I asked them to give $3000 that would build a house for a family, and prevent their temporary house (made of paper) from being washed away by the summer rains. Not only did they raise the money for one house, but an incredible $12,000 that will build 4 houses!

I am sometimes perplexed about this thing called “religion”: certain codes to live by, but where is the fruits of relationship?? Times like yesterday revive my faith to a new level! You showed God through example, and it’s obvious our walk with God is going to a new level! (And to be honest I’M FREAKED OUT BY HEIGHTS!!!! pant..pant) But faith is a freaky thing sometimes. My father has always said, “It’s easy preachin, but hard livin!” Thanks for your trust and faith, let’s make this summer the best ever. We have a lot of ministry opportunities planned so don’t miss a one!!
