This year has been a time of incredible growth which brings also great responsibility. The word of God gives us charge in Luke the twelfth chapter “ Where much is given much is required.”

Let your individual ministries expand. It may be as simple telling somebody your testimony, or helping in Sunday school by driving a van, or praying with someone in the altar ! God want to use you in 2010 !!! The harvest is ready—will this be the year we say “Hear I am lord….use me.”?
Lets go !!!

It looks as if we are going to end this year with a bang! God is doing incredible things with us. Attendance is rising dramatically and it is all because we are keeping the main thing, the main thing; and that is souls!

There is an under current of involvement that is, “If it is to be, then it is up to me.” Of course, there are always hurdles that we must navigate, but God will contrive to us wisdom and guidance.

Let’s continue to pray for each other during this flu epidemic. Pray that God would continue to cover each of us. Thanks for all that you are at New Life. I challenge you today to make someone’s day better and to let them know that Jesus loves them.

This month will undoubtedly be the most earth shattering and
groundbreaking event in our eight year history here at New Life. This
boot camp will challenge us and encourage us to excel to the next
level as a congregation.

There are so many incredible things happening
every week at New Life! I implore every one not to miss one single
minute of this totally awesome weekend. You will be forever changed!

Also, I wanted to say thanks for your response and involvement in
our family enrichment nights every Thursday. God is truly doing great things
in us!

The past several months have been very positive for us as a body of believers. We have been blessed to experience lots of new faces, and powerful moves of God in each and every service. He is definitely moving in an awesome way at New Life!

As we go into this new school year, I want to challenge us as family units. Let’s make sure that our children are being challenged biblically on a weekly basis in our homes. Let’s reflect and implement the challenge that Bro. Mangun gave us for our homes.

1. Weekly structured Bible studies

2. A nightly time of prayer with our children.

These two tremendously important ideas must become daily practices in our homes for our families to be grounded. We must take our homes back this year; Let’s not wait until January to change things. Let’s start revival in our homes this month.

Hang on! Dive In! It is time for mind blowing revival!

For those of you who do not know what I am referring to, I shared pictures and stories from my trip to Guatemala with the church in yesterdays service. I asked them to give $3000 that would build a house for a family, and prevent their temporary house (made of paper) from being washed away by the summer rains. Not only did they raise the money for one house, but an incredible $12,000 that will build 4 houses!

I am sometimes perplexed about this thing called “religion”: certain codes to live by, but where is the fruits of relationship?? Times like yesterday revive my faith to a new level! You showed God through example, and it’s obvious our walk with God is going to a new level! (And to be honest I’M FREAKED OUT BY HEIGHTS!!!! pant..pant) But faith is a freaky thing sometimes. My father has always said, “It’s easy preachin, but hard livin!” Thanks for your trust and faith, let’s make this summer the best ever. We have a lot of ministry opportunities planned so don’t miss a one!!
